Ozone generator

An ozone generator (ozonator) is capable of producing ozone-triatomic molecule containing three oxygen atoms artificially by generating high voltage (called the "corona effect") which produces ozone, and, collaterally, ions negative. Ozone generation has application in the removal of odors and sterilize the air, in water treatment and purification, and electro medicine - ozone.

Ozone can not be stored or transported, it is much less stable than diatomic oxygen, and other gases. The reason is that it quickly converts to oxygen, and thus must be produced at the place where it will be used.
